Jason was a member of the Expert Advisory Group prior to his election to the NSW seat of Strathfield in 2022.

Jason was recently elected the Member for Strathfield in the NSW Parliament.  He is also a Pro-Chancellor, Chair of the Risk & Audit Committee and Senate Fellow of the University of Sydney. Jason is also chair of Vantage Asia Holdings, Refugee Talent and a director of AsiaLink. Jason was appointed a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum, an Eisenhower Fellow and Hauser Global Fellow at NYU Law School. He previously worked for the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia.
