Mohammad Al-Khafaji is the CEO of the Federation of Ethnic communities Councils of Australia (FECCA).

Mohammad has extensive experience working in the community sector, and was formerly the CEO of Welcome to Australia. Mohammad sits on the Advertising Standards Bureau community panel, the South Australian Health Performance Council and was previously a member of the SBS Community Advisory Committee. Mohammad was a finalist in the South Australian Young Australian of the Year awards in 2018. He is a strong advocate for refugee rights, diversity and anti-racism.
