Cultural diversity policy

Policies and strategies to promote workplace diversity are key to preventing and responding to discrimination. Establishing a policy will confirm that your organisation supports cultural diversity and does not tolerate discrimination.

The Commission has developed a template workplace discrimination and harassment policy that can be adapted for your organisation which can be found here.

Reconciliation Action Plan

Reconciliation Australia can help your organisation to create a Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). A RAP outlines practical action that your organisation can take to build strong relationships and enhance respect between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and other Australians, and also sets out your aspirational plans to drive greater equality.
