A new and stronger anti-racism campaign

Our collaboration with campaign supporters and anti-racism experts has provided valuable insights that have strengthened the campaign and its goals to build understanding and skills on challenging racism. Now, based on learnings and insights from the Racism. It Stops With Me campaign, we will be working with our supporters and stakeholders to develop a new stronger anti-racism campaign.

This year the Australian Human Rights Commission will transition away from its long-standing anti-racism campaign, Racism. It Stops With Me

Since its launch in 2012, Racism. It Stops With Me has continued to grow and evolve. Our collaboration with campaign supporters and anti-racism experts has provided valuable insights that have strengthened the campaign and its goals to build understanding and skills on challenging racism.

Based on these learnings and insights, we will be working with our supporters and stakeholders to develop a new stronger anti-racism campaign.

This new campaign will:

  • Amplify expertise, in particular from First Nations and other negatively racialised communities, that can support the development of shared understandings of race, racism, anti-racism and other important concepts
  • Create information, tools and resources for our supporters and the broader public to combat racism in a range of contexts
  • Motivate and support the public to take action against racism

Keep an eye out for how you can be part of this journey and new campaign.
